Andrew Carroll is the author of The Three I’s, Scared Little Poet, and the forthcoming Followed. These books
span about seven years of writing life, and he does not pretend to be the same voice on
every page. What stays constant is the promise at the top of this page: honesty on hard
subjects, handled with dignity. That holds whether the book is naming patterns that cost
trust and relationships, love and loss and healing, or questions of privacy and
sovereignty in a digital age, without sensationalizing the people involved.
Poetry and language were already his lane before Carroll Media Group took shape as a
studio: open mics, long nights, and the discipline of saying true things carefully. He
keeps the books in their own lane next to the film and stage work on purpose, so this
page stays a straight conversation with readers, not a detour into someone else’s
production.
The road to these pages ran through compliance-heavy roles, facilitation at scale, and a
pivot toward poetry and media when the old script stopped fitting. None of that is
decoration. The books are where he does the slow work of saying what that pressure
changed in him.
